Have you ever secretly longed to grow into your potential so much that you spent hours dreaming about it? You cherish that precious vision in your heart (sometimes for years), knowing somewhere deep inside that that vision is meant to come true. You sense the truth in it, like you’re meant to dare boldly and go for it and share your strengths with the world, and if you did, it would feel so right.

…and when the opportunity finally appeared…

did you jump right in and go for it?! Or were you keenly aware of the tightness in your chest/stomach…the teeny tiny voice deep inside that made you question yourself? Maybe you dragged your feet, hemmed and hawed, made an excuse and declined the opportunity…or perhaps you nervously accepted and wondered what you’ve gotten yourself into! You have no idea how you’ll pull it off, and you’re terrified it’s all been a terrible mistake.

It’s so anxiety-provoking. Deep down, don’t we all want the confidence to respond to opportunities to level up with a resounding “Yes!” – and trust we have the tools to make it happen?!

What do we do when we don’t feel confident to lean into growth? Do some Google searches, watch some YouTube, observe with a tinge of envy just how effortlessly others are rocking it, all the while wondering, “I’m not sure what’s missing, but I just don’t have that it factor.”

What if, instead of letting fear make your decisions,

you were willing to stay in charge of your choices?

The truth is, when fear appears, you have a choice that will determine your destiny: let it stop you or acknowledge it and keep going forward.

If you choose to stop, you’ll keep getting more of the status quo: angst, dissatisfaction, untapped success…

But if you choose to keep going - each and every time fear shows up - you'll discover something life-changing: confidence grows by persisting through Fear.

But here's the challenge: fear doesn't just politely ask us to stop. Instead, it overwhelms us with strong and powerful emotions, like panic, inadequacy and shame. No wonder we resist the very actions that would help us grow.

The first step in mastering fear? Understanding how it shows up in your daily relationship with yourself. Consider starting with the Thriving Life Self-Confidence Inventory found at www.ThrivingLife.com. In just 20 thoughtful questions, you'll gain crystal-clear insights into the foundation of your confidence: your relationship with yourself. This inventory meets you exactly where you are—no shame, no impossible standards, just honest reflection and practical next steps toward the confident person you know you’re meant to be.

Success is already yours. All you need to do is quit the boss that’s impeding you from having it!
